An open Letter for Indian Judiciary

Judiciary is a respected institution in India and judges/judicial officers are more or less respected by the People of India. Although Judiciary in India is not free from corrupt practices. PF Scam of Ghaziabad U.P. etc. is a bitter pointer to the scourge. The rot is deep rooted like in almost all other institutions of public life in India. It is a matter of great concern that the Judiciary need to be above all suspicions as they say 'Caeser's wife should be above all suspicions'. This is possible only if transparency is ensured in all processes involving the Judiciary such as appointments, disciplinary rules, service conditions etc. of all judicial officers/judges/personnel. There has been a public debate going on whether Judges in India should declare their assets or not.
